Time to Review your 2013 Goals

Did you know that you should review your annual goals quarterly to ensure that you are on track? March is a great time to review your quarterly goals. I am assuming that you did have an opportunity to set goals for 2013 and work with a coach or someone using success proven goal setting procedures and appropriate structures in place to help you work successfully towards your goals. A review of your goals in March will help to identify what needs to be changed, tweaked or modified. The most successful and proven way to reach your goals is to write them down and work with someone to develop winning actions and structures to get you towards your goals. Writing your goals down and working with someone to lay out a plan for their successful and attainment is an investment in yourself, your life and business. If you don’t yet have your goals on paper, do so now, if you can afford it, work with a coach to set goals to guide your progress for the rest of 2013. If you did set goals, then this is a great time to check-in and assess where you are in relations to your goals, plan some celebration for the goals you have attained and strategize to fine tune and accelerate the goals that you haven’t yet quite gotten too.

One of my clients in a quarterly review last year found a way to increase his business revenue by 20%, while another client implemented the winning strategies needed to finally get a raise she wanted for the past two years. These are opportunities they would have missed had they not taken the time to reflect and take quick action on their goals in our quarterly session. I urge you to stop and take the time to review your goals, see where you are and where you want to go and see if there are things you need to change, tweak or reverse. I have seen this process help clients save thousands of dollars, change relationships, get, raises, promotion and improve their wellness. Go ahead! Give yourself permission to review your goals today.

International Women’s Day Significance for Men

Tomorrow Friday March 8th is International Women’s Day – so how does a man celebrate this significant day? This day is set aside by the UN to encourage fairness, justice, and equitable treatment of women to observe of their human rights. If you are a man who wants to make this personal for the woman in your life here are some tips:

Men try this at home:

  • Ensure that your lady feels treated like your equal and have equivalent time with the television remote
  • Change the dialogue from “helping” out at home to sharing responsibilities
  • Ask for her input on an important decision in your life and listen respectfully
  • Try completing a task in your home that is traditionally done by the lady (except for childbirth, you’re not that strong)

Women note this:

This is not a day for flowers and roses exclusively; this is a day to focus on core issues that impact our lives as women. Since we live longer than males statistically, we need to think differently about our wellness, how they age, how they care for themselves and think ahead and create great relationships to see them through their life span. I encourage every woman to think of March as your wellness month and do one thing to improve your wellness this month. I am facilitating a women’s wellness mastermind session tonight – Join me

Wellness all around

A few days ago, I did a presentation for a group of women and the comments I heard was I didn’t think of wellness as being so broad. I have been focused on improving my physical, emotional and spiritual wellness but I forgot to pay attention to the impact of financial and environmental wellness. I didn’t even realize that I could be well in so many areas. I had shared with the group my wellness coaching conversation as part of my initiative to expand the scope of wellness. Below is an overview of the conversation.

Having a wellness conversation is an opportunity to look at how well you’re doing in all areas of your life. How well are you doing? I would like to give you an opportunity to join with me and other women who are interested in sharing and learning from each other to improve our overall wellness.

As you know, March 8, 2013 is designated by the United Nations as International Women’s Day. I am also celebrating the entire month of March as women’s wellness month and would like to invite you to join our commencing event on March 7, 2013 – Women’s Wellness Mastermind session. This is the 3rd year that we are doing this to support women in finding new and innovative ways to improve their wellness.
